Commission A Painting
I have witnessed time and time again the transformative power of art when hung on an empty wall. It has the ability to turn a house into a home, elevate a boardroom into a place of creative collaboration, and shift the lobby and halls of health providers towards healing and hope.
Art brings about a positive transformation in a space, evoking either a calming and soothing ambiance or a vibrant and energetic mood. You may be surprised by the changes not only in your space but also in your life as you live and work with art. It can reenergize your dreams, inspiring new choices and mindsets.
I am here to assist you as you decide to intentionally change the atmosphere of the spaces where you live and work. Commissioning a painting involves a collaborative process between the artist and the client. Though it might seem daunting to invest in a statement piece or select a body of work for your space, I have guided many people through this process before, and I am confident that you, too, can choose artwork to transform your spaces.

Step 1:
Take a close look at the space in need of a painting.
What size painting do you need for your space? What colors are you working with in your space? Take photos and measurements of the space along with your ideas to share with me.
Step 2:
Contact me with your questions and ideas for the project. I will create sketches based on your initial ideas and send them to you for your feedback.
Step 3:
We will discuss your space requirements, size, colors, inspiration photos, and things that inspire you. I may ask you to take a look at my painting gallery and choose 1-2 paintings you love. We will use all of these things to inspire your unique art piece.
Step 4:
I will confirm with you and set a timeline for completion of your piece. A 50% non-refundable deposit will be made to begin the painting. The remainder will be paid upon completion. Typical timeline for completion is 3-6 months depending on the time of year and my availability. I will send you photos as I create your piece. A final photo will be sent for your approval before I add the final varnish layers.
Step 5:
When the painting is dried and cured, I will contact you to arrange delivery and installation or shipping. The final payment is due on delivery. If shipping your piece, final payment will include actual shipping costs due at the time of shipping.
